My sister is a world traveler and garden designer. In her
travels she has collected photographs of masks from other
cultures and the ones shown here range in age from 400 AD to
the present. These masks were behind a glass case; the
photographs were taken Rob Rensing (www.sunflowerinn.ca). Because masks were traditionally used by
shamans in the context of community, and often for purposes
of healing and restoration of balance, you may notice many
similarities in style from throughout the world and across
time.
